Pulses provide significant amounts of vitamins and minerals. Pulses, which have almost double protein content of cereal group products, are the main protein source of many individuals due to their long-lasting, storable and affordable price compared to animal food. In addition to its great importance in human nutrition, pulses are also a low-cost alternative as animal feed and has a very strategic place in our ecosystem.
