8th edition of OIC Halal Expo, which was held simultaneously with the 7th World Halal Summit held in Istanbul Congress Center on 25-28 November 2021, opened its doors to its visitors. The official opening program of the fair was realized with the presence of Vice President Mr. Fuat OKTAY and İHBİR attended to fair with an info stand of 25 m2.
At the opening program, Vice President Mr. Fuat OKTAY stated that the world halal economy, which was 4 trillion dollars in 2017, has reached 7 trillion dollars today and he said that “Turkey’s initiatives sped the acceleration up.” Also he emphasized that “This and similar events with international participants and visitors should be platforms where international cooperation is directly provided”.
As İHBİR, the sector and member companies were introduced within the scope of the fair and this will create an international platform and create opportunities for professionals, experts and anyone interested in halal in the halal sector.
Halal Expo will continue to host its visitors between 25-28 November.
